The belief, that God is in Heaven and we are down here fightin' it out on our own, is false. God created man for intimacy and fellowship and thats what He wants.
We here at T.R.A.I.L. believe that life is not meant to be lived indoors. Rather, life is about getting out and into the beauty of God's creation. Conservationist and founder of the Sierra Club, John Muir (1838- 1914) once said, "Wilderness is a necessity.... There must be places for human beings to satisfy their souls." So that is exactly what we aim to do. Our main goal is to create an environment that allows men to have their heart renewed and get away from their jobs, school, and schedule in order to connect with God, to get away from the distractions and business of life and JUST BE.
T.R.A.I.L. is an acronym for True Relationships and Adventurous Intimacy with the Lord.
God wants to celebrate with us on the mountain tops and stand with us in the muck and mire. He is the Creator of the universe. If you created something as beautiful as earth and it was just you to enjoy it, wouldnt you create someone to enjoy and explore it with? Thats where we as humans come into the picture.
